About

Hi, nice to meet you! My name is Tessa Bouwmeester. I’m from the Netherlands, specifically the region Achterhoek & Twente. Painting and drawing have always been my passion. With my ambition to teach workshops and share my knowledge, I hope to inspire others to explore their creativity.

In my daily life, I work as a lecturer and researcher (MSc. in the biomedical field). Alongside my work, art has always played an important role in my life.

You can also find my work on Instagram and Facebook under @tessafineart, where I share my process and finished pieces. Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in a collaboration, a workshop, or just a chat about art!

Send us a message for anI create both traditional and digital art. Using my iPad and Apple Pencil, I make colorful digital artworks in Procreate, but I also love working with traditional media such as gouache and acrylic paint. My inspiration comes mainly from nature, which is reflected in my work—expect to see plenty of animals and landscapes in my portfolio.y questions or just say hi!

Fineliner & Graphite Drawings

Detailed and delicate drawings inspired by nature. I combine fine lines, subtle shading, and carefully built textures to capture the character and intricate details of birds, insects, and other natural subjects.:

Fineliner & Graphite Drawings

Nature brought to life through colour, texture, and expressive brushwork. My paintings focus on capturing the atmosphere and beauty of natural subjects while maintaining a detailed and realistic foundation.

Fineliner & Graphite Drawings

A more flexible and experimental side of my work. Digital illustration allows me to explore colour, composition, and detail in a different way, while keeping the natural subjects and delicate aesthetic that are central to my work.
